The Trust is an independent company limited by guarantee, which means that it does not have shareholders – it has members. It operates as a business, but with social as well as financial objectives, and this type of business model is known as a social enterprise.

The Trust is a social business for community development and regeneration.

THE MISSION

The Trust has adopted the following Mission Statement:

To work as an independent Trust to continue with the regeneration of the West Itchen area, to champion its needs and to assist the aspirations of the people living and working there.

To develop the assets of the Trust and to assist other organisations in the area bid for funds.
