means that you are playing a key role in improving things locally

We cannot expect to represent the community that we aim to serve unless we have a significant membership base drawn from the West Itchen area. We therefore encourage those residents to join.

We have a small team to run the company and develop its activities and a Board of Directors to oversee this and govern the company in accordance with the Companies Acts. But we need members to ensure that the Board does its job and to make changes if it does not.

More importantly, we need the expertise of local residents to help us to identify local priority areas and work with us to make life better. This way, we are all ‘Working towards a vibrant community…’
